David Lynch: The Art Life 2016
I was a bit apprehensive towards this docu at first. Scared of the usual over embellishment of an artists life and whatnot. But I it was quite nice! It focused predominantly on his non-film art, Lynch did most of the talking and while hints were dropped of influences/ inspirations, there no over interpretation. And damn my man had a work ethic.

Lost Highway 1997
Wow, those mystery man scenes really creeped me out. Also, what great soundtrack (You Put A Spell On Me - Marilyn Manson). The rest of it felt more like extended versions of the commercials Lynch did. A lot of intense visuals of hot people, and not as substantial as his other works.
A great film to slowly transition from a beachy summer into spooky vibes for the pumpkin season. 🎃
