  The Brutalist 2024

  I went in wanting to enjoy this so much, and it fell flat for such a great period of the film. Of all the pictures I’ve watched in the past 3-4 years, this is quite easily the one least deserving of its 3+ plus run time. Brody is immense, but I never care for the character or the story, despite its impressive cinematography and score.

  Hardest I’ve laughed in the theater since the Holdovers, and my goodness what a laugh it was. I personally loved the shift to Igors perspective st the halfway mark, and thoroughly enjoyed the ending after sitting on it for a while. Quite handily my favorite of this current Oscar’s campaign, sorry Kneecap

  This score SLAPPED although literally no idea what the end song was but I have it in my library. The first 40% was so mid but looked good, but once he goes out w the redhead it really takes off. Surprisingly wholesome, and made me scared an getting older

  This shit was MID until homeboy from the orphanage snuck in. Almost broke when he asked to go back to the car wash. Like one of my favorite characters in anything I’ve seen in a LONG TIME. Almost cried when he said he was thankful she was born. I hope he plays in the Prem
