Babygirl 2024
Whether you’ll ever admit it aloud, this film wonderfully depicts the complexity of sexuality and the humanity often encased in cheating. Shot in vivid color and backed with an absolutely vibrant score, Babygirl is a film that will be painted in memory, whether you have the guts to admit it was sexy (in a universal way) is solely up to you. Hats off to director Halina Reijn, and to Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson. Truly marvelous.

It's What's Inside 2024
Think “Bodies, Bodies, Bodies” and “Talk To Me” but for a Netflix audience. More fun than the former, substantially less scary than the latter. Fun, fresh, and definitely deserves a watch. Just make sure you watch this one sober, it’s a lot to follow!

Anatomy of a Fall 2023
God this movie was drab. How in the hell it has secured so much award buzz is beyond me. What was the point of this film? Why did the filmmakers find it necessary to make this? Questions that neither my viewing partner nor I could find an answer to. “Anatomy of a Fall” feels like an over-extended, dull dialogue that ultimately has nothing to offer the viewer or the genre as a whole.
P.S. I’ve never endured such an ugly cast in my life.
