    What I thought was just 12 Angry Men but for The Pope was actually a scathing and urgent call to recognize and squash fascism when it comes knocking. This movie was rich and sensitive and careful, masterful acting from everyone involved, especially from Ralph Fiennes and Stanley Tucci, but that’s like saying you’re surprised that trees know how to grow so well.
