predictable at points (how many times can you say daisy jones and the six)….the 2nd northport festival sequence was borderline laughable in its HEY-LOOK-AT-HOW-BADASS-BOB-IS-NESS. he kinda just came across as a dick
i love that diamonds and rust is such an iconic song they simply HAD to mention it at some point

refreshingly beautiful and interesting, symbolic cinematography that doesn’t dumb down its message for the audience!! i need to watch the og film but my brain was constantly saying this didn’t happen in the book even though this is its own thing im so annoying.
even so i missed the strength of mina’s character - some plot points didnt make sense to me i.e why aaron taylor-johnson died on his own rather than with his family, why willem defoe started manically…
