Zero Dark Thirty 2012
I almost wish Zero Dark Thirty wasn't based on true events because then we could just sit back and enjoy one of the greatest mystery films ever made. It depicts that messy place where surgical information-gathering meets the chaos of the real world. Characters try to make sense of a flood of data by following, abandoning, and reformulating procedures as they go along, and in any other film it would be a geeky thrill to watch.
