The Brutalist 2024
Rating this immediately after the Dylan movie feels wrong. Movies like this are almost a completely different medium.
Watched it in a theater with a bunch of older New Yorkers. None of them got up at the end—some were crying. Not sure if old people just like watching the credits, or it just hit them that hard. Probably the latter, as I too felt partially compelled to stay seated.

Not amazing, not bad. Did the job. Good acting, great music, mediocre story. Also New York (and the people (and the way they dress)) looked the same back then. Is that a testament to stuff back then or a degradation of stuff now? Yes
