Back in 2022 when this movie was announced, I was concerned to say the least. James Gunn, the man behind The Guardians Trilogy, The Suicide Squad, and the Scooby-Doo duology, is making a Superman movie. A reboot supposedly designed to set up the DCU, with a wide range of characters that threatened Superman’s presence in his own movie. I feared history would repeat itself.
