BlueBeetle consistently retreads old ground from the CBM genre but it’s charm, cultural significance, and lead save it. However, when it doesn’t play to it’s strengths it falls into being a standard CBM.

While it’s refreshing to see a modern take on dracula take the source material seriously, a bloated runtime and forgettable characters drag down what should be a tight scary vampire thriller.
