  Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls 2023

  This is genuinely one of the funniest films I've watched in years. It was a birthday gift and quickly became my favourite gift I received. Bowser's lovable loser lead, Onyx, may come to some as annoying or grating with his eccentricities but I honestly found him endearing. The overall film does what I always say any good genre film needs to do: give us a cast of likable characters we don't want to see harm come to.

  This film is easily one of the worst comedies that I have ever seen in my entire life. It makes porn parodies look clever. If I could give it less than 1/2 a star, I would. It deserves the amount of stars equivalent to the amount of laughs it received: none. It's not "anti-woke", it's anti-comedy. I don't recommend watching a single frame of this film. But, if your morbid curiosity makes you, do not pay money to see this utter garbage. By all rights, I feel like everyone who has had to sit through it should sue Ben Shapiro for robbing us of our time.

  For all intents and purposes, this movie may be the best film I've ever seen in the "murder mystery" genre. Hell, it could very well be the best movie of 2019, if I'm being entirely honest with you. To speak too deeply on why it is such an excellent film would be to ruin why it is that. Watch it, that's all I can say.
