Didn’t need the fight scenes in the beginning. Story gets better/more coherent after the first act. I mostly enjoed the cast about this movie. Good performances by many, including Brie Larsen. Fun to see her on earth back in the 90s. The film nails the current nostalgia for that era (pay phone scene, internet cafe, blockbuster, radio shack, etc). Interesting to see Jude Law in this role. But hus character is mansplaining too much. Nice surprise to see Annette Bening in it, too. Love her. Always enjoy seeing Samuel L. Jackson. And, of course, that cat...
