I didn’t fully get Parasite the way other people seemed to, and this one helped me to realize why.
Bong Joon-ho delivers a wonderfully scathing commentary on the evils of capitalism. The creative satire oozing out of every scene keeps me pondering. However, in Mickey 17, as well as Parasite, he seems to bog down the third act in favour of spontaneity over character development.
