The Dark Knight 2008
For starters, I don’t particularly enjoy superhero movies. I’m not too much about action, but every time I see a Nolan film my ideas are challenged. I think that The Dark Knight is special. It’s suspenseful and nail-biting, but I feel like personally I’m just not too much of a fan of action packed films. I actually didn’t expect this movie to be so funny, It’s probably one of the best comedy movies I’ve seen in a bit and it’s convinced me that modern CGI has destroyed films like this from making it big

Interstellar 2014
I have no idea how I had avoided this film for so long, the entire film had me nervously sweating the entire almost 3 hours of run-time. Nolan has captured the essence of suspense and even with my incredibly short attention span I found my eyes glued to the screen at all times. This movie is particularly fun to point out all the subtle details, building up to the ending, and I can only imagine how fun it would be to do a rewatch, given that I will most definitely cry again.
