One of Tarantino’s best film, what do you expect with an insanely talented crew of actors. Christoph waltz’s interaction with everyone really turned this movie into a top 10 for me. Being able to speak 4 languages so fluently while holding on to his characters emotion just sold it for me. Like all Tarantino fashioned movies, the chaotic ending was a firework of the finale, making you feel completed and shocked on that fantastic 3 hour piece. Great pacing and humorous dialogue!
I love movies based off true events or of a persons life. The first half of the movie felt so rushed and with a cut happening every three seconds, it made it hard for me to grasp a scene. The focus on the manager was Another downside, not because of the actual plot he brought, but because Tom Hanks performance felt childish and took out the realism in the movie. Other than that Elvis didn’t disappoint and made me feel starstruck or wanting more of his performances.
A modern movie in 2022 that just feels nostalgic. Top Gun Maverick shows that there is still hope for sequels to classics after all. I was on the edge of my seat for half the movie. Although some parts were easily predictable seeing it come together and how it was pulled off made it just good enough to feel spoiled. Great movie and fantastic action scenes.
I experienced this movie through various clips I’ve watched online or quotes someone would say to me from the movie. That being said seeing the full movie from memories of those snippets made it that more enjoyable. This movie felt more like a comedy than a thriller in which I actually enjoyed it more. The subtle dialogues that Bateman has with those around him, and the narcissistic personalities his coworkers share with him make this a battle of egoism and…
