it was just me and a handful of others, but we were all fans so we're just quietly cheering and laughing to ourselves <3 i'm sure it must be so much more fun in a packed cinema and it's like watching a real volleyball match!
the kenma pov stood out the most, but there were so many moments that just made my heart sing! i was already tearing up within the first few minutes :') i loved watching their developmentβ¦

i liked the twist of horror one doesn't expect! these characters were doomed from the start in hindsight.
a warning for a terrible animal death though. it's just heinous and honestly the most terrifying part for me. those kids got away too easy.
went into this movie knowing absolutely nothing and when i left the theatre, i was stunned that for a few moments i honestly couldn't remember where i was and how i got there. walked around the mall in a daze and got food even though i wasn't that hungry. didn't even know how i got home but i did. and now i've just realised that the person got my food order wrong.
Starting out the new year right by watching the whole trilogy (the extended editions!) for the first time ever and... I love everything. It's funny that after all these years I've managed to be unaware of what LOTR is about except a little about Frodo, Gandalf, Smeagol, and something about a ring (of course). As a total newcomer--not having read the books either but they're now on my TBR list--I really enjoyed them and personally loved the first one mostβ¦
