it’s called anora, it’s about anora, yet we don’t know much about who she really is. men just don’t get it. they need to stop attempting to represent us in films, with pretentious lines and beautiful cinematography cause it’s just not working anymore. it’s not pity that i look for in women protagonists, i’m looking for compassion & depth.
it’s all about understanding and feeling understood.i want more women directors that can showcase the delicate nature of our emotions, empowerment within self & community, and the real struggles we face daily.
