This movie had no business being this good! The animation style was very creative, the villain was menacing, the plot was predictable yet touching, and the side characters (except for the annoying dog) were all enjoyable. All-in-all well done!

Just like Ford V Ferrari, the film suffers from investing in the nostalgia of the brand over the juiciness of the story. It had all the right pieces yet lands flat. I enjoyed it but wanted more.

The fascinating villain and romance reunion are downplayed / disrupted by constant, cheap humor. I enjoyed the general premise of the story and the risks it took. Visually compelling, although overstimulating (as we’ve come to accept with Marvel lately… sometimes less is more). Nonetheless, A few scenes I’ll never forget because of their amazing, imaginative settings. I really wish the movie didn’t get in the way of its own story!
