This movie shows a lot of emotion with very little dialogue, while Frankie Corio is super believable as the curious Sophie. The film really shines in the way it captures the bittersweet feeling of memories, parenthood and the feeling of leaving things unsaid.
It’s a slow, reflective movie that leaves a lot to think about, especially around the themes of growing up, family, and the things we don’t always say to the people we love.

In the Mood for Love 2000
This really was nothing I've ever watched before but extremely interesting. I do enjoy watching movies that are just so different than what we are accustomed seeing in theaters. This move was very slow paced, but slow enough to feel what needed to be felt in this very sad but complicated tragic love story. It also allows you to pay more attention to the details like setting and sound. The design of it all really fit perfectly.
