Oh my gosh, I wonder how much they had to pay to get world famous actor- star of the Oscar award winning movie, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules- Devon Bostick, to play in this measly straight-to-streaming movie.
Bostick's performance really carried this movie and was honestly the saving grace. Other than that, I can't really see anyone enjoying this movie unless they have a hyperfixation on WW2 (specifically the Manhattan Project).
Personally, I found Oppenheimer to be too long and a bit dull. Unfortunately, it was not as good as the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film franchise.
Saw this movie with my boyfriend and was genuinely horrified by the lengths Ari Aster goes to absolutely torment his characters. This film really keeps you on your toes and shocks you at every turn.
