The way Charles Melton expresses and holds himself in this is haunting. Just an emotionally stunted 13 year old whose life was robbed from him and can barely express himself except through distress, his butterflies, and weed. He carries the movie for me, and the way Joe cries seeing his kids off to college knowing that they’ll have the life he never got to have is painful to witness.

Idk who told Justice Smith to do that deep voice but it is so distracting and annoying, hindering his whole performance. Really needed to be 20 minutes shorter but nope it just kept going for one needless twist after another. Sydney Sweeney being hot can only do so much.
