edit: I will add that after some googling and an interview article… I will say I now I understand her vision, but it was not conveyed through her work.. this was horror for women… the horror of a woman violated in every possible way. and I just didn’t get that through the movie. and I am all behind a female horror message about bodily autonomy… but I think a prequel to a well known…
