Crash 1996
I was really afraid to watch this movie because of how my partner described it but was baffled to find it's an incredible film. Despite being mostly sexual content, it's distant in a way that's indicative of the lack of true interest between the group of people involved in this almost cult-like fetishization of car crashes. You can tell that none of these people would have come together if it weren't for a very specific set of circumstances that led them all to be aroused by car crashes. I've never seen anything like it, and I highly doubt I'll see anything like it again.
