Heavy propaganda. Am still reeling from this one. Very sinister in its melodramatic attachments to American dream etc, the kind of normalization of settlement for the sake of preserving normative family ties with only the smallest inkling of an attempt at criticality. Very awkward in its attempts at self-consciousness. Also super embarrassing idealization of architecture as a field. Not to mention Brady has no idea how to approach whatever he thinks it means to show women on screen. Many choices…
