The Brutalist 2024
The Brutalist is a massive film in both scope and execution. While enjoyable, I’m not sure I’d watch it a second time. The real draw here is the stellar performances. Adrien Brody, Guy Pearce, and Felicity Jones all deliver standout performances, and I believe Brody truly earned his Oscar. And yes, I liked his acceptance speech!
The story follows a Jewish immigrant family that survived the Holocaust, only for Brody’s character to struggle to build a new life in America.…
