I wanted this to be good sooooo bad, and it was sooooo close to being truly great. Nic cage and and Nicholas Hoult were incredible castings and played their roles amazingly.
But the entire film was ruined by a shitty mafia plot line that had no place to be in it and hijacks the film about halfway through. This plot line sucks ass. It sucks ass hard. You can still have like awkwafina as the cop and all but shoving this…
On par with the first one, but I enjoyed it less because i enjoyed travelling through heaven and hell less than travelling through time
It was alright until the historically inaccurate naval scene. The coliseums packed earth floor was actually waterproof enough for naval recreations, but ten years after its construction they replaced the packed earth floor with a non water proof wooden one. Also the thumbs up/ thumb down thing is complete bullshit. We know it was a sign made with the thumb but we have no clue what it actually was.
Other than the historical inaccuracies it was pretty good
This sucks ass, while the first movie was a true tribute to the universal truths of bros, beers and 70s rock this unfunny sack of shit retroactively makes the first movie worse. I have been thoroughly disappointed and my week is ruined
