    Another genre-defying project from Bong Joon Ho, Mickey 17 (2025) was refreshingly witty and entertaining. The cast delivered incredible performances, and the writing, paired with expert comedic timing, made for an entertaining watch from beginning to end. My only gripe was that the movie dragged a bit in certain areas and could have been streamlined into a neater bow.

    Really cool concept that didn’t quite stick the landing in an impactful way. I’m Not a Robot (2023) was still a solid watch, but the short lost its originality with a very predictable ending in an increasingly cliché sci-fi subgenre. The setup had a lot of potential, but I just wish the screenwriter had gone in a less obvious direction.
