Super weird tech horror film with cheesily awesome 90s special fx.

A lonely gay weatherman in LA has an on air breakdown and is asked by his boss to take a mental health break from work. While doing so, he needs help with a painting project and hires a day laborer with limited English and basically start paying him to hang out. This sounded intriguing and also I was cautious going in thinking this could easily go into cringey territory. But i was wrong. they manage the storyline and potential minefields quite well. It's a cute movie without being overly cheesy and Matt Bomer is delightful.

Who would have ever imagined that bitchy cheerleader #3 (Hilary Swank) would go on to win two Oscars while Buffy (Kristy Swanson) would go on to star in Swamp Shark.
