Phantasm II 1988
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Don Coscarelli's sequel to his beloved 1979 cult classic is a radical departure from the first film. Universal insisted on a new Michael (James Legros, replacing Michael Baldwin) and a bunch of voiceover narration to make the story more sensible.
Because of this, Phantasm II probably shouldn't work. But Reggie Bannister and Angus Scrimm tie it all together.
Do I like it as much as the original film? No. But It's still a damn good time.

Suspiria 1977
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

One of the seminal Italian horror flicks. Essential viewing.

The Imposter 2012
13 year old Nicholas Barclay vanished on a quiet afternoon in 1993 in San Antonio Texas. This tragic event could have easily been just another in a long line of horrific child abductions – ones where families are left with their lives on hold for years, wondering what happened to their child and if they’d ever be found – had it ended there. However, three years later, Nicholas’ family got some good news – their son and sibling had been…
