It was slow, it copied Halloween on numerous occasions. Yet, somehow, I had my eyes glued to the TV the whole time. It’s entertaining. The third act is really the stuff of classic slasher.
In terms of slasher standings, this one is HIGHLY underrated.
So, I consider to round this off in a trilogy of British Werewolf films (the other two being Howl and Dog Soldiers). Now this may have the smallest budget out of the three films I’ve mentioned, but I find it has a certain charm and quality to it. It’s not as good as Dog Soldiers, but it’s marginally better than Howl.

Tobe Hoopers most recognised work. While this is Hoopers landmark film, he had other films other than TCM that deserve praise.
Tobe Hooper was a hero of mine, and his death is really gutting for me. The man is an icon and always will be. His later work may not have been as strong as his earlier work, but you can always feel in his films that his passionate love for horror shines through.
RIP Tobe, have a good time up there with the other horror heros Wes craven and George Romero.
