Tony Hawk: Until the Wheels Fall Off 2022
this documentary is genuinely top notch. from the very striking opening of tony practicing his tricks and taking major slams, all the way to the very credits this is just such a genuinely beautiful piece. i absolutely adore the interview with skaters from his era, and especially the rodney mullen one. i think this film is a perfect look into tony hawk and the skate scene in general, even for the people who aren't actively in the community.

Look Back 2024
for only having a 58 minute run time the movie truly touched the depths of my soul. its characters have so much depth and the story is so raw and emotional, it may be my favourite movie of this year. the soundtrack, ontop of the beautiful visuals, are truly out of this world.

rewatched for Halloween, its got to be one of the greatest movies. the cinematography throughout is beautiful, ontop of the amazing editing, performances and soundtrack. the director truly knew how to direct this movie without glamorising any of patricks lifestyle. this is definitely one of my favourite movies and will most likely stay that way for a long time.
