  the changes in color saturation were pretty cool. pretty good exploration of grief in parts. some of the story parts didn’t fully work for me and the third act isn’t as engaging as the rest but colin firth is great in his role. didn’t expect nicolas hoult to be in this either

  not at all what i was expecting my god. some of the sequences in this were so well edited and just amazed me. oddly insanely ahead of its time for 1969. crazy that this won best picture but like totally deserved. i don’t exactly have the words right now because I’m still processing the ending but yeah.

  this is just like a perfect movie. all the characters are done so well and you root for them through the entire movie. funny, heartbreaking at times and very sincere. the ending makes me cry in a happy way
