Bride of Frankenstein 1935
so much of the things they included from the book just dont translate because they decided to not give the creature language.
smoking cigars and drinking while playing music by the fire is ridiculous. smoke is good!
the fashion is beautiful but from the completely wrong era, which i’m sure was common for the time but still. seeing Elizabeth Frankenstein in a fur-lined fitted jacket and knee length pencil skirt was jarring.
