OKAY I LIKED THIS MOVIE UNIRONICALLY but girllll ... if you want a freaky sexy awesome medieval aesthetic movie you should be watching brahm stoker's dracula. this is the most puritanical morally black-and-white vampire movie i have ever seen. like many mid horror films, the lead female is KILLING it.. lily rose depp is an incredible actress and without her this film would be completely irredeemable. there were some excellent scares and a few very funny moments, but the lighting is SO BAD!!! anyway loved the sex stuff

weird and fire ahh movie... i love bruce willis and i LOVE brad pitt, also kind of speaks to the cultural fears around outbreaks following the AIDS crisis and other events. drags a little bit at times and is a little hard to follow the first time, i do love the plot and the general aesthetic of the film

this movie is MADE by sigourney weaver's acting. the tension would be nothing without her, she's captivating to watch, and you really feel her fear through a bunch of the choices she made (especially her ragged terrified breathing!!). i watched this stoned so admittedly it probably isn't as gripping as i remember but there is lots to love (cheesy 80s practical effects, gore, jumpscares). there are lots and lots and LOTS of flashing lights to the point that we checked…

very fire movie... seen in theatre and enjoyed the art/shot direction, a lot of juxtaposition between warmth and coolness, both emotional and physical. poignant, satisfying, and exhilarating modern commentary on religious and racial issues which def reflects my own thoughts. at times bitingly funny, and at others heartbreaking and emotional. the theatre was full of reactions !!!!
