The Florida Project 2017
Raw. A tough watch for sure. This don’t feel like a movie at all but a real life experience that the viewer is included in. The subject matter is def uncomfortable to watch, however it is so beautiful in contrast. A story about childhood innocence, friendship, and community. The ending was incredibly powerful, suggesting an alternate timeline of fantasy fairytale ending, to a tragedy. The color purple was beautifully incorporated.

The Suicide Squad 2021
This was a pleasant surprise!! The tones and overall mood of the movie are way different from the previous suicide squad movie, which in my opinion are for the better!! The director, James Gunn had a fun time making this and you can tell. I thought the writing was pretty good. Some plots wholes… but it’s as if the director purposely did so to leave room to build on ideas for possibly more films. The humor was excellent, more gore…

Totally Killer 2023
I really liked the writing for the show! I think it’s a good example of modern horror comedy. I’m kinda a sucker for period pieces so the 80’s charm and style was awesome. I would watch this again and it felt like a fresh breath of air with good casting.
