  My buddy John bringing me to Cannes was a godsend. Here I am, a small town Dad from Texas, Top Gun Maverick was the last film I went out to see. A three hour Turkish slow as snail flick is the last thing I’d ever stumble into. And guess what… it was beautiful! The power of art. Palme D’Or incoming.

  Caught this by chance on at AIFVF in Ohio with a film industry friend of mine taking me to the local festivals. He said this was worth checking out. Even for a Texas dad like me this sent me chuckling. Runquist infuses each frame with a  finger licking zippity tang that rang through my entire skeleton.
