Finally writing a review for this since I’ve had time to sit with it. I don’t hate the other sonic films but this is the first one I can say I like without adding a big asterisk at the end of my statement. Problems I’ve had with previous entries are either less prevalent or just mostly drowned out by the amount of GOOD character moments in this one. It finally feels like it’s not ashamed of the source material anymore…
