Absolutely phenomenal masterpiece. Although I’m not a massive fan boy for the franchise (although I still very much love the alien films), this tops the list as my favourite one.
The characters, setting, and tie ins to each and every film made prior to this one in the last 30 years melts together into a beautiful piece of work. Romulus explores the connections between Prometheus and the alien films whilst bridging the gap between Ripley’s time in cryo.

Brilliant historical epic that interrelates with a modern day issue so well. The three different perspectives allowed an uncommon viewpoint which you would never take into consideration today. Ridley Scott does so well in not so much making Adam Driver’s character sympathetic, but more so his thought process in the matter. A fun film, although does not come close to both the previous Deadpools. The cameos and comic references were my favourite part, especially Johnny Storm and Gambit. Disappointed with the flow of the film, the storyline seemed a bit squeezed and sloppy at points. The best jokes were also all used in the trailers so had less of an amusing affect in the cinema.
