  This was just so disappointing. As a life long Hellboy fan this was just a poor imaging of the famous “Crooked man” storyline from the books. All the shots feel so flat with barely any creative cinematography or blocking choices going on. Also the colour grading looks gross and very “made for tv movie”.   Honestly truly beautiful. From all the performances, the cinematography and the messages of the power of art and growth the whole film is just insanely crafted and a beautiful watch. Coleman Domingo will also definitely go down in the books as one of the best to ever do it.

  Feels very lucky to have this film be as big and as weird of a spectacle as it is. There is definitely an alternate reality where this is like 90 mins and directly on tubi so having this be this well done and have such a mainstream release is such a gift we shan’t take for granted.   Very innovative in the way it’s shot and the way the story is told. Lots of scenes broken up by different footage being intercut and placed in and it really works for the story and message that is being portrayed.
