Was it weird, yes. Maybe a little preachy, yes. Was there moments that I thoroughly enjoyed and wanted more of, for sure.

The Banshees of Inisherin 2022
I love when Martin writes for Colin. Always great dialogue, and Colin does so well. This was such a beautiful movie to watch. I just wish I could have walked away feeling better than I did, but I guess that’s what Martin does well. He brings us into uncomfortable situations with characters we like, and by the end we have walked with them through a life altering moment. But we never see the resolution, if one exists, from that moment.
