Since every modern Bond movie has to be about how you can’t make comedies anymore, Mission Impossible gets to be James Bond. The parachute scene is sick as fuck. It actually goes so fucking hard when the aspect ratio changes to imax. The quadruple crossings are hilarious, everyone’s outsmarting everyone else, just a marathon long string of ”are you sure about that” and ”maybe you should look again.” It’s weirdly predictable despite that but that almost makes it more fun…

While this isn’t good, there’s something about the sincerity of it that comes off very endearing. I do fuck with the fact that it’s self-funded and there are some decent songs in there.
