mae kinda ate the boys up but also this movie just has a weird vibe throughout and it’s not because of the spooky undertones of being constantly surveilled. like everyone is really stiff and weird and i don’t fuck with it.

Nickel Boys 2024
made me actually genuinely tear up in so many ways and i am absolutely obsessed with the first person filming of it all??? was also intrigued knowing it took place in florida and was based on real events because i wasn’t aware of the reality of it until just before seeing it. so beautifully crafted and was very much robbed this awards season in my honest opinion. however, in my heart elwood will forever reign. definitely worthy of the itunes award from me (will be buying asap to watch on my ipad whenever)
