Wicked 2024
As a movie, I felt the runtime. But gorgeous cinematography, excellent choreography and a soundtrack that managed to make its way onto my YouTube music playlist made this movie one of my favorites of the year.

This premise had me so excited. A Maximum Overdrive-esque movie where robots combine and kill humans in a cheesy over the top way?? For the first part of this movie, I was sold. The friendship between the two leads was hilarious and believable. And when y2k hit and the carnage started, I was so giddy with the stupid gory deaths. But just as quickly as it started, the movie shifted to a lower gear and never revved up again.
