It's core concept is a lot of fun and it does that part well, Baby is an interesting protag and well developed enough. However, when this movie isn't a meticulously choreographed and edited music video or an acceptable romance story, it's a very average and often obnoxious action movie with side characters I have no investment in. It's not so much wasted potential as it is half baked, an exciting premise with flimsy connective tissue.
