  A great film with lots to take away from it. But my main take away is that Yura Borisov (Igor) is a beautiful baby boy and by "baby boy" I mean a strong handsome man.

  One of the most important films a cinephile should see. This is cinematic art. I don't know how the director, Chantal Akerman, made this when she was only 25. Jeanne Dielman is bold, brash, demanding, stressful, routine, slow, mesmerizing, tedious, and beautiful.

  It is best to go into this film not knowing anything about it.

  Really one of the best films ever made.

  This would have been a top notch children’s horror movie except it was too bloody. But it had real childlike logic and sense of humor.
