  Solid. One of the few movies based on a high school not specifically made for children. Although it contained some of the classic student archetypes, this film was just as much about the teacher Mr.McAllister as it was about the kids. The movie maintains suspense by quickly moving in funny and creative directions. The style of the cuts was outdated in an amusing way that added to the charm.

  Directed by Gus van Sant staring young Keanu Reeves so it must be good right? Wrong. This film tries so hard with the art direction it forgets to form a cohesive and flowing plot. There are a few redeeming scenes in this but it misses in so many ways it’s tough to get through.
