This movie was funny but also hits hard. They definitely captured something real with the dinner scene where Jesse talks about the “unremarkable sadness”, it feels like that is the core around which the rest of the movie was built - the difference in how people deal with pain, and though opening up is more endearing someone who isn’t as open still feels it inside. Both leads were great, although I do lose it a bit when it feels like actors are just playing themselves
