Very lovely and beautifully shot, but I am slightly baffled by what the film is trying to say and I certainly can't believe the idea of it.
So she's this powerful, stubborn, driven, stoic lady who works her way through years of poverty and war, but is also head over heels infatuated with some random bloke to the point of insanity, and she genuinely doesn't wrap her head around that for like 8-10 years or whatever it is? Mental mate.…
Should have been called blood can't coagulate because the blood in this should have dried up.
Or it should have been called blood can't communicate because that bloody bloke could have got to the bottom of the whole thing if he actually spoke and effing well communicated, what a pleb.

First of all, allow me to predict the future: around 20 or so years from now this will be a beloved, classic, milestone movie, much like Shawshank and others... Current critics are a little to withered up to see beneath the messy, chaotic, furry outer skin of this oh so juicy fruit. Just you wait, 20 years from now this will be on all of the big lists. Mark my words.

Ok straight away, there is no reason for this film to be scoring so low. Maybe the trailer was misleading, but if you've seen American Hustle, surely you know roughly what your in for. I thought it was good fun, flawed, but good, and I don't think it deserves the 1/5 and 30% on Rotten Tomatoes.
