The 8 Diagram Pole Fighter 1984
Unbelievable - the last fight sequence stands as the high point of fight choreography in all of cinema, only equalled by the final action extravaganzas of Drunken Master II and Once Upon a Time in China II.
And to think that the script was rewritten in the middle of filming due to Alexander Fu Sheng's premature death - absolutely devastating and a huge blow to cinema. As to whether the final product suffers as a result of Fu Sheng's death…

Greatest Christmas movie ever! I can't remember the last time I had such a big, dumb smile on my face for the entirety of a movie. Miyuki's facial expressions had me howling with laughter. Hana is indeed the greatest queen of them all and Gin's antics in the latter half of the film are honestly legendary. How does a Japanese anime director understand the true meaning and themes of Christmas better than most, if not all, American filmmakers? An indescribably heartwarming and absolutely incredible film!
