  I don’t really care if this isn’t exactly as perfect as Parasite or whatever other film, this is still a fantastically well-made movie by an immense talent and his amazing team :,) 
  And for the love of god, please go support this in theaters!! People complain that original sci-fi (yes, I know this is an adaptation of a book but it’s not a super well-known IP so I’m including it) is dying in cinema, so if you care about that at all then go see it (if you can at least, I know times are tough 😓)!

  I didn’t get a chance to see the Lord of the Rings films or the original trilogy of Star Wars movies in theaters, but I have to imagine that watching this is what watching the first chapter of those franchises must’ve felt like. Seeing this brand new world being established before your very eyes, yet it feels lived in and real, despite it being very unreal in every way.   Love love love this movie. Ana is glorious in it and the whole colorful cast (literally) is astounding. 

  “I WILL NOT EAT ONE IOTA OF SHIT” gets me rolling every time, ESPECIALLY since (according to Rian) that was all Michael Shannon.
