  I didn't expect to get lost in the lie alongside Danni, but that's exactly what happened. I think I hated her less than I was supposed to, and definitely less than everyone else did, and that probably says something about me. A really solid mix of cringe, hilarity, and genuine emotion, plus a bunch of really well used music. After this and how much I liked Blame, I'm excited to see what's next for Quinn Shephard.

  I found myself unknowingly tensing my entire body multiple times throughout, which is a complete compliment to a film where the fear comes from real, plausible situations. Kitty Green continues to cement herself as a top tier filmmaker, and Julia Garner keeps being nothing but an absolute gem.

  I couldn't really put a finger on where this was headed in the beginning. Every time I thought I had it, it would throw me for a loop. But right when I started thinking, "this has to wrap up soon, right?," this movie smacked me in the head with a finale that had the entire theater roaring. Not sure what else I could've asked for, tbh.
